The rules
Simple enough to remember on the first tee, contested enough to argue about on the eighteenth.
- Four events across the year, each with its own trophy: .
- In each event you get 4 points for winning, 3 for second, 2 for third and 1 for fourth.
- Win and you are cut 2 shots off your handicap. Second is cut 1 shot. Third gains a shot. Fourth gains 2.
- All points are totalled across the year. The overall winner is simply the one with the most points.
- If it's a tie for first, it goes to the number of events won, then the number of second places, and so on. Still level? The result of the last event decides it.
- Every player gets one Mulligan per round, at any stage except when putting. Forget the shot happened, re-place the ball and go again without penalty.New for 2025
